The ceramic objects are clearly handmade from rolls or ripped strips of chunky clay. This reflects the preference for craftsmanship and transparency: it is obvious how a form is built up. The colour of the objects simply comes from the colour of the chamotte clay: white, black, red or salmon, whether or not combined with a different colour sludge. In addition, the bright glaze on the inside is also washed into the outsideand thus stresses the pattern of rolls....
